Omega Seamaster Diver 300M GMT, 2535.80.00

This was called a 'James Bond' watch since it was a model that was featured in at least one of the films. This is a fine example from OMEGA’s sporty Seamaster collection and is a tribute to the brand’s maritime legacy. This is an exquisite example of Omega's renowned watchmaking and pays homage to OMEGA’s dive watch heritage and its adventurous pioneering spirit.

This model, which is no longer available, has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, features a blue, wave-patterned dial with a date window at the 3 o’clock position. In addition to its central hour, minute and seconds hands, there is a red GMT wand that completes one rotation around the dial every 24 hours. The blue unidirectional rotating bezel is mounted on a 41 mm stainless steel case with helium-escape valve at 10 o'clock. The bezel is usually used to time a scuba dive adventure.

It was professionally serviced and polished August 24th, 2026. Regular 'maintenence' was done which includes all function testing. This is a 20 year old watch that I took scuba diving with me decades ago when I purchased it. There is 'normal' wear & tear and evidence of use on the watch. The major wear and tear is on display by the red box is was shipped in. Little flecks and bits and pieces of the box are deteriorating as usual. All papers, and even the original hang tag and sticker that was on the back of the watch are still on the box.
